{Whats New} Autumn Feel Fabrics

Oh how I love autumn.  Easily my favourite time of year...summer is to hot, winter is too cold but autumn is just right (in the words of Goldilocks!).  I love the colours that are associated with autumn and when I saw this collection, I new I had to have it in the shop because it would make perfect little dresses for autumn!

The collection is by Sue Daley for Riley Blake Designs and is called Tueigs and Grace (pronounced too-igs? Please correct me if Im wrong!)

The Petals is my favourite and already, I have a picture of a little pinafore dress with tights and boots for the winter for my littlest one! 

So, thats this week new fabric, Im looking forward to the next lot already!

{Whats New} In The Shop

We have (almost) been inundated with new fabrics coming in over the last month or so!  Not that Im complaining....who would when surrounded by all this beautiful fabric!!  And beautiful it is....

Happy Every After - Riley Blake Designs

Have you ever seen such a perfect fabric for a little princess?  Designed by Sandra Workman for Riley Blake Designs, the princess castles and little dresses would look perfect as maybe a patchwork bedspread.  I have two little princesses who fell in love with it as soon as it was delivered!!

Little Monkeys by Blend Fabrics

Not wanting to forget the boys, how cute is this monkey fabric?!  If you know the words to "No More Monkeys Jumping On The Bed" you'll be singing it to yourself after making something for your little one with this!!

Type By Windham Fabrics

A bit of a grown up print in comparison with the others, Type by Windham fabric is illustrator Julia Rothman's debut fabric collection.  My mind has been whirring with ideas since ordering this, and a few people came up with some fab ideas over on Facebook too!  Glasses case with the glasses fabric, messenger bags with the letters, fabric baskets to organise your desk with the paper clip one....too many ideas, not enough time to do them!!

{In The Shop} Some Exciting "Coming Soons"

Apologies for the quietness on the blog of late but I assure you there has been a lot going on behind the scenes!  Apart from a short break in beautiful Devon, we've been busy browsing and picking up-coming fabric collections - and what a job its been!  

In an ideal world we'd stock everything, in all colours, from all designers but I think we've managed to pick a fantastic selection to tempt one or two of you!

{Giveaway} Ruffle Cushion Fabrics n' More!

Everything you need to make the cushions, all you need to add is some toy stuffing (or the inside of an old cushion as I tend to do!) and a sewing machine.
