First Craft Fair Of Many

We've got LOADS of craft fairs booked in this year and once the site was launched I couldnt wait to get started at the craft fairs!  Our first one was at the Craft Fair at  Langstone Village Hall on Saturday.  It couldnt have gone better.  We chatted to lots of people, sold some beautiful fabrics and generally had a lovely time.  Most importantly, we ate amazing cupcakes which, if Im honest, is one of the nicest things about going to a Craft Fair!!

Just a quick post from me to say that the grab button I promised is now available on the side bar!  Looks a bit like this...

Im off now to work on my first tutorial for the blog.  I wont say what it is yet in case it doesnt work out!  There will definitely be a tutorial here soon though using some amazing fabrics from the shop, so keep an eye out for it!

The Launch Day Giveaway is Here!

Finally its time for a GIVEAWAY!!  I do love a good giveaway so wanted our first one to be pretty special.  Forgive me for only announcing it now, have been waiting for some good light to take photos, but have woken up to grey skies the last couple of days.  Typical really, so the photos arent the best.

*ahem* WE ARE NOW LIVE!!

Finally the day has come, our online shop is now LIVE!!  After only one (ish) late night and a small amount of stress, we are pleased to be able to bring you, as promised, gorgeous fabrics, fab habdash and lots of lovely sewing supplies.

We hope you like love it as much as we do.

Two Days??? That Cant Be Right!

However, that is right, there are only two days left until launch day!  Im pleased to report that, apart from one or two photos, the site is set and ready to go.  Not sure exactly what time we will be going live on Thursday, Im thinking about lunchtime, once we've checked, double checked and then checked some more that everything is ok and nothings been left out!

One Week Til Launch Day!

It never fails to amaze me how quickly time goes.  However, Im really pleased to say there is only a week to go until we launch online!  This time next week, the site will be live and hopefully, you will be swooning over all our gorgeous fabrics, ribbons and buttons and have a million creative ideas floating round your head.

There are a lot of things planned for this blog too.  Aswell as regular updates of whats going on behind the scenes at The Sewing Boutique HQ, we will be doing regular tutorials, hopefully I will be inviting a few guests to do tutorials too, we will have regular product reviews and updates so you can find out whats new in the shop and also, discount codes and giveaways when we reach a few milestones!

Also on this blog next week will be details of our Launch Day Giveaway!!  This will be huge and not to be missed!  Im putting the final touches to the prize but needless to say it will include fabric, lots of ribbon and maybe even a special code for the winner to use on the site?  Sound tempting!?  All will be revealed next week!
